Methods of Quranic Memorization (Hifz) in Indonesia (An Integrated Technique)

Abstract

This article is a descriptive-analytical research on the methods of memorizing the Qur'an in Indonesia. Some of these methods are reviewed through a literature review approach to be integrated into the best method for every memorizer of the Qur'an. The result of this research is an integration technique which is described through the traditional integration method developed by KH. Muhammad Munawir with modern methods that are widely developed at this time. The conclusion obtained is that each method needs to be integrated or combined by adjusting the capabilities of each individual equipped with certain evaluation tools.
